Decaf coffee beans and ground decaf, roasted to order in our Devon roastery. Our Colombian Decaf is a single origin from Huila, decaffeinated by the water method, and it actually tastes like coffee.

Our decaf coffee

Most decaf ends up flat. Ours is smooth and medium strength, with a bit of chocolate and sweetness, and it holds up as espresso, in a cafetiere or with milk. It comes as whole bean, ground or espresso grind, in 250g and 1kg bags, and it sits in our Signature Collection next to Milan and Cafe Selva.

For offices, hotels and care homes, the decaffeinated ground espresso shots are 100 pre-portioned 7g sachets, one per cup, so a decaf takes no longer to make than a regular one. How our decaffeinated coffee beans are made

The caffeine comes out of the green beans before they are roasted, using water rather than chemical solvents. We then roast them the same way as the rest of our range, which is why the decaf does not taste like an afterthought. Decaf is not completely caffeine free. The best decaf coffee in the UK?

We are not going to claim that. What we will say is that our Colombian Decaf is the espresso decaf we sell most of, and the one most of our care home and hotel customers stock for evening service. Try a 250g bag and judge for yourself.

Yes. Our Colombian Decaf comes as whole beans for anyone with a grinder or a bean to cup machine, and ground or espresso grind for everyone else.

What is the best decaf for an espresso machine?

Our Colombian Decaf in whole bean or espresso grind. It pulls a smooth shot and works with milk.

Is decaf coffee caffeine free?

Not completely. Decaffeination removes most of the caffeine, but a little stays in the bean.

How much is delivery?

Delivery is free on UK orders over £50. Below that it is £4.50 for parcels under 2kg. Order by 12:00 and it goes out the same day.
