Organic and Fairtrade Coffee

Organic coffee beans that are Fairtrade too. Our Cafe Selva blend carries Soil Association Organic and Fairtrade certification, and it is roasted to order in our Devon roastery.

Cafe Selva, our organic coffee

Cafe Selva is a medium-dark blend, strength 4 out of 5. Full-bodied and smooth, it works well as espresso and holds up in milk, which is why cafes serve it all day. It comes as whole bean or ground in 250g and 1kg bags, so there is organic ground coffee for the cafetiere as well as beans for the machine.

What the labels mean

Fairtrade means the farmers are paid a fair, agreed minimum price for their crop. Soil Association Organic means the coffee is grown without synthetic pesticides. Both are independently audited.

Is your organic coffee also Fairtrade?

Yes. Cafe Selva is both Fairtrade and Soil Association Organic.

Can I buy organic ground coffee?

Yes. Choose ground on Cafe Selva and tell us your brewer.

Is there an organic decaf?

Our roasted decaf, Colombian Decaf, is not sold as organic. If you need an organic decaf for the office, the Clipper decaf instant sticks are Fairtrade and Organic.
