Breakfast Blend is the lighter morning coffee. Colombian Huila with a touch of Kenyan, roasted medium, strength 3 out of 5.
The cup is bright and clean. A bit of chocolate, a bit of butterscotch, just enough acidity to wake you up without being aggressive. Works well as filter, fine as espresso, and good with milk if you want something less heavy than Milan or Continental first thing.

This blend shines when brewed as a filter coffee or a gentle espresso. Use a medium grind for filter and a fine grind for espresso to bring out its bright, fresh character without overpowering the palate. Keep the water temperature around 92-96°C to balance acidity and sweetness.

Great Coffee Since 1978
Hawkins Coffee was established in 1978 by Richard Hawkins who started roasting coffee in Kingsbridge in the South of Devon. He was driven by a determination to get the best taste out of the best coffee beans. We took over the business in April 2001 and with the same determination and obsession with quality which has enabled us to grow the business from 5 tonnes to 45 tonnes of roasted coffee per year by the end of 2007.
