Description

High Mountain Blend is built around Mocha Mysore with Colombian and Kenyan beans on top. The aim was a cup in the style of Jamaican Blue Mountain without the Blue Mountain price tag. Medium roast, medium strength.

The result is balanced. Chocolate and nuts up front, a bit of fruity brightness in the background, soft enough to drink black, easy enough to work with milk.

A good middle-of-the-road option for anyone who finds the dark roasts too heavy and the single origins too sharp.

Whole bean or ground. 250g or 1kg, with free UK delivery.

Brew Balanced Every Time

This blend works well as an espresso or with milk, so feel free to choose your favourite method. For espresso, aim for a fine grind and a steady 25-30 second extraction. If you prefer filter or pour over, a medium grind with clean, even pouring will bring out the bright, fruity notes.

Our Story

Great Coffee Since 1978

Hawkins Coffee was established in 1978 by Richard Hawkins who started roasting coffee in Kingsbridge in the South of Devon. He was driven by a determination to get the best taste out of the best coffee beans. We took over the business in April 2001 and with the same determination and obsession with quality which has enabled us to grow the business from 5 tonnes to 45 tonnes of roasted coffee per year by the end of 2007.
