Description

Kenya AA is a single origin from the Murang'a region. AA refers to the bean size, the biggest and top grade, hand sorted before they leave the farm.

This is a lively coffee. Bright acidity, plenty of character, fruit notes that come through clearly. Best as filter or pour over, where the brightness shows up properly. Works as espresso too, but a different drink, sharper and more vivid.

Most of the customers who reorder Kenya AA do so because they want something with more personality than a house blend. It is a coffee you actually taste, not a coffee that disappears into your morning routine.

Whole bean or ground to your brewer. 250g or 1kg, with free UK delivery.

Versatile and fresh every time

Brighten Your Brew

Kenya AA shines when brewed as a filter coffee, bringing out its clean, citrusy character. It also works well as an espresso or with milk, so feel free to choose the method that suits your day. For best results, use fresh water and adjust grind size to balance brightness and body.

Our Story

Great Coffee Since 1978

Hawkins Coffee was established in 1978 by Richard Hawkins who started roasting coffee in Kingsbridge in the South of Devon. He was driven by a determination to get the best taste out of the best coffee beans. We took over the business in April 2001 and with the same determination and obsession with quality which has enabled us to grow the business from 5 tonnes to 45 tonnes of roasted coffee per year by the end of 2007.
